What is the basic of Educare Course?

Instrumentation and control refer to the analysis, measurement, and control of industrial process variables using process control instruments and software tools such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level sensors, analyzers, electrical and mechanical actuators, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), Piping.

What does an Educare do?

The Instrumentation Technician will design and develop new devices and enhance or redesign older devices used to control electronic or mechanical systems.

Is Educare a good career?

In the private sector too, Instrumentation Technicians are in high demand. A skilled Instrumentation Technician with sound knowledge of operations and machinery controls is in great demand in private sectors.

What is Interesting about Educare?

Instrument Technicians or electricians or electrical technicians play an important role in our society. According to National Scarce Skills List, electrical engineers are listed as one of the top 10 skills shortage in South Africa. Instrument Technicians are in critical need in industries such as power or energy generation (Eskom), telecommunication, engineering, computing, construction, energy, manufacturing, transport and utilities companies and the armed forces.

Award

A student will qualify for a National N Certificate in Engineering Studies on completion of a minimum of 4 subjects on N3 Level.
